As an actor he’s is best know for his major role as a slave owner in "The Birth Of A Nation", Recently he won The Indie Series Award For Best Actor In a Comedy Series for his Amazon comedy series on "Smothered". Jason also has appeared in the award winning films "Tangerine", "Love Is Strange", "Gia" with "Kindergarten Cop" and "Vegas Vacation" among his fan favorites. He has wowed TV audiences with guest roles on such shows as "Goliath", "Love", "Sleepy Hollow", "The Closer", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "House", "Everybody Hates Chris", "George Lopez", "Charmed" and as “Dr. Thomas" on "My Wife and Kids". As a stand up comic he just won the Worldwide Comedy Award for Best LGBTQ Comedian. And you have laughed with him on "Laugh Proud", "Gotham Comedy Live", "One Night Stand Up", "Wisecrack", "Comics Unleashed". "Out There" and has had own comedy special "Making It To The Middle", 2.comedy albums and a recent autobiography "Shut Up, Im Talking!"

I love being an actor and joined the union in 1977. I have been in almost 280 film & TV shows as an actor and comedian, working many of our contracts.I co-chair and co-created the SAG AFTRA LGBTQ Committee and have been a member of the Diversity, Senior, Comedians and Low Budget committees. I am a team player and have the ability to compromising with working with well others. I support our leadership in this strike and stand shoulder to shoulder with all of my SAG AFTRA siblings in this ground-breaking moment in out history. Being of service to others is a big part of my life one day at a time.
