About Kevin:
I started my professional career in 1982 when I joined legacy SAG after being upgraded on the film Six Pack in a scene with Terry Kiser. After working in a few more films, TV movies and commercials in Georgia. I moved to New York in early 1983 worked as BG and stand in and eventually principal in films, commercials,TV. Then started booking big national commercials and had work as recurring characters in Soaps where I also did motorcycle stunts, it was an exciting time. I ventured out west to LA for pilot season in 1985 and fell in love with the lifestyle and opportunities LA has to offer. Thirty-eight years later, I'm still here with my wife and two kids (one of whom is a SAG-AFTRA member). I've booked 300+ commercials, nearly 70 Film roles from student films to 100 million dollar plus blockbusters, 44 TV shows (over 100 episodes total). I've been active in our union well before merger and now serve as a local LA Board member and Co-Chair of the LA SAG-AFTRA Conservatory where I have also taught for over 15 years. This Union literally saved my life and I am devoted and dedicated to keeping it strong for all of our members dreaming and working toward their own careers.

Local Board and Delegate

More power and control for all Union members. An exclusive casting database FREE to ONLY our membership. Stricter self-taping rules. Make our new building a hub for creativity and content creation not just an office space for staff. More social interaction, relationship building programs for members. Increased opportunity for every member, not just A-listers. New contracts and affordable technology give us more freedom to create our own content. Programs and training to do that. These are my priorities, vote for me and together we'll make it happen. Vote Drescher/Fisher - Unity2023.com

Issues I care about:

My top priorities are making access to health care and pension more obtainable and inclusive. Making iActor the exclusive casting platform for UNION members so we can stop paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars to "for profit" casting platforms if we choose. Make sure that self-taping is reasonable and better for our members. Provide education and incentives for members to make artistic and profitable content with and for each other. Encourage more relationship building for ALL members. It is incredible to see A-listers out on picket lines, and I hope we can count on them to participate in Union members' projects when the strike concludes. Those are my top priorities but there are so many issues out there that are important. I want to hear what is important to you and help if at all possible.
