Khristina Lousie LaMonte
Delegate

I’ve always wanted to be an actor. I was told that at 18 months old, I would point to the TV and say “me do dat”. Growing up a military brat, which gave me the opportunity of people watching/studying, on a global scale, and learn to work well with a wide variety of people. I was a drama major, technical theatre minor, in college. I toured theatrically after college, as a Head Carpenter and a Props Supervisor, joining my first union, IATSE. After moving to LA, I got my foot in the TV/Film world by doing Background and as a PA, eventually joining SAG-AFTRA and becoming a Stand-In. I’m currently a member of both SAG-AFTRA and IATSE Local 44.

Issues I care about:
I have been in a union for 20 years, at this point I’m in 2. I know I can’t accomplish everything I’d like all at once, but my goals are to reinstate healthcare for our seniors, continue the fight for real cost of living wage increases, and making sure our Stand-ins/background aren’t left behind. I want to help this Union as strong and great as it can be!
